About the Sport Studies Program at Lake Erie College
The Sport Studies Program is an interdisciplinary course of study designed to integrate general management skills with the specific demands of sports organizations. Built upon a foundation of business courses, the sport management curriculum provides students with a deep understanding of the role of sport in society and the management of sport both domestically and globally. Students will explore the history, legal framework, economics, and communication systems in sport.
Graduate Preparation
The program includes a range of educational experiences designed to accelerate students' development, preparing them to become business leaders of tomorrow. Through collaborative projects, case studies, and internships, the curriculum provides excellent preparation for further graduate-level studies.
