Office of Residence Life
Going away to college imparts one of the greatest life lessons you will ever learn: living at home with your parents wasn’t quite as bad as you thought it was.
Living on Campus
Actually, the friends and memories you create while attending Lake Erie College will be with you for the rest of your life. Your room is the hub of your college experience, and all the quirks of living there will become your most cherished memories, whether you laugh about them or you cry.
Resident Assistants (RAs)
Every residence hall floor has an RA, sort of like an older sibling. Your RA helps you with everything from learning your way around campus to figuring out how best to arrange your room. They share your successes and your struggles.
RAs help you to create fantastic floor and building communities with your neighbors, developing enjoyable spaces in which everyone can communicate. LEC includes four residence halls and the Founder's Court apartment complex. In total, we house over 449 students!
The Office of Residence Life
We are committed to maintaining environments conducive to learning and fun. We do our part to keep our residents safe in respectful communities, and with this comes personal and community responsibility from you. Make sure you familiarize yourself with the LEC Student Code of Conduct, which can be found in every Student Handbook.
As a resident on Lake Erie College’s campuses, you are expected to:
Attend and participate in residential meetings
Support your residential community activities
Respect the rights of other residents and staff members
Care for your space and personal property as well as the property of the College and your neighbors
Adhere to the Student Code of Conduct
