Laura Stockhaus began teaching at Lake Erie College as an adjunct in 2013. In 2019, she joined the staff as a full-time faculty member. Laura has a Bachelor’s degree in Equine Facility Management from Otterbein University. During her time as a student at Otterbein University she served as the Equine Science Department’s Teaching and Administrative Assistant. Since graduation, Laura has managed and taught riding lessons in several facilities in the NE Ohio area. Most notably, she served as the Equestrian Director at Andrews Osborne Academy, where she managed the facility, coached two IEA teams, ran nationally rated horse shows, and developed academic courses in Equine studies at the middle and high school levels.
