State of the Art Lab| HVACR

There is state-of-the-art and then there is awesome! When the LEC leadership team decided to pursue the installation of a modern teaching facility, Trane was a natural partner.

Bringing their expertise in all things heating, ventilation, air-conditioning, and refrigeration, the Trane team provided expert counsel and step-by-step training on how to set-up a world-class lab and program.

An added benefit, unique to the LEC program, is that students will deploy their newly learned lab lessons by working hands-on with the real-world tech across the Lake Erie College campus. The facilities include diverse HVAC from older heating systems to modern-day digitally controlled units. The diversity allows students a tremendous opportunity.

Commercial & Residential

Unique to Lake Erie College's HVACR program is the emphasis on commercial institutional products and installation. Students training in the field will find it tough to break into the workforce without training on the new digital controls and modern tech replicated in the HVAC training suite at LEC.
