First-Time Freshmen| Take the World by Storm
Welcome to one of the most significant decisions you will make for your future.Â
Actually, relax. Lake Erie College has been admitting students since 1856 and we have spent years perfecting the practice. Don’t let test scores, transcripts and essays keep you up at night. Our admission staff will guide you through the process, answer your questions and evaluate your application based on your academics, extracurricular activities and community involvement.Â
A quick word about that essay: wow us! Let us know who you are and what you believe in. We love to hear what 8-year old you wanted to be when you grew up. Did you win the science fair as a thirteen-year-old or the spelling bee as a first-grader? Tell us! Show us why LEC is the destination for you!

The enrollment deposit is fully refundable up until May 1.
Lake Erie College abides by the National Candidates Reply Date of May 1, but we will continue to honor confirmation deposits for all students on a space-available basis up to the first day of fall classes.
