Join alumna Nicole Winter '10 as we take a deep dive in to what it means to feel burnt out. The presentation will focus on the various stages our brain goes through as we experience burnout and how it affects us. Once we have a deeper understanding of what it means, Nicole will share some tips and tricks on ways to handle burnout and get ourselves back on track to manage everything life throws at us.
The presentation will be held in the Coe Conference Room on Wednesday, August 13 at 6:00pm. A virtual option is available alumni to join remotely. Please note that Nicole is based out of Seattle and will be joining us virtually.
About Nicole:
Nicole Winter is the Founder of Burnout-ology, a corporate coaching company that helps organizations address and prevent employee burnout through science-backed, body-based solutions. She is a Certified Intuitive Coach, Nutrition Coach, and Energy Healer, with a B.S. in Biology and minor in Equestrian Science from Lake Erie College.
After spending over 15 years in high-performance roles—from veterinary care to technical recruiting at a FAANG company—she experienced firsthand the toll of chronic burnout. Despite trying conventional strategies like therapy, mindfulness, and executive coaching, she only found lasting healing through body-based approaches that support nervous system regulation from the bottom up. The Burnout-ology method is the brainchild of Nicole’s lived experience and the collective expertise of a highly skilled team, offering an eclectic, trauma-informed, and evidence-based approach to burnout recovery. With over 80 years of combined experience in somatic healing, trauma care, mental health, and nervous system science, the team brings together certifications in Somatic Experiencing®, TRE®, CranioSacral Therapy, public health education, peer support, full-spectrum reproductive care, and boundary coaching. Together, they bring a grounded, compassionate, and evidence-informed approach to burnout recovery—empowering individuals and organizations to build lasting resilience.
