Lisa StrausbaughDirector of Center for Leadership and Professional Development Office: 440-375-7379 Office Alternate: 440-375-7366 Email: lstrausbaugh@lec.edu Lisa Strausbaugh serves as the Director for the Center for Leadership and Professional Development. She oversees registration of teachers in coursework towards their license and is responsible for planning and implementing the Professional Development curriculum each semester. Lisa works with both face to face course presenters and online instructors. Utilizing a background in Higher Education of more than 10 years, Lisa brings experience in student recruitment, student life and adult student programs to her work for Lake Erie. She has worked for large institutions like Seton Hall University but prefers to work for small colleges like Lake Erie that value the personal experience. It is her goal that the Center for Leadership and Professional Development provides that exceptional, personal experience for educators. Lisa holds a bachelor of arts in History from The College of Wooster and a Master of Education in High Education Administration and Student Personnel from Kent State University. College Summer Hours
Summer hours for the college will begin May 31 and run through August 2. Offices will close at 12:00 p.m. on Fridays and reopen as scheduled Mondays at 8:30 a.m.
Note: All offices will be closed Thursday, May 23 at 12:00 p.m. and reopen Tuesday, May 28 at 8:30 a.m. in observance of Memorial Day.
