GREAT LAKES LECTURE SERIES RETURNS WITH “WHAT MATTERS MOST IN NORTHEAST OHIO”

(Lake County) - Lakeland Community College, Lake Erie College and Lake Hospital System are collaborating for the second consecutive year to provide interesting lectures and presentations for the general public through “The Great Lakes Lecture Series: Issues that Matter.” The series returns to Lakeland Community College on October 26 at 7:30 p.m. in room H101 with a discussion entitled, “What Matters Most in Northeast Ohio.”

Cleveland’s WXYC TV Channel 3 political analysts, Democratic former Congressman Dennis Eckart and Republican former Cuyahoga County Commissioner Lee Weingart, will conduct a thoughtful discussion about what matters in Northeast Ohio. With several key political races looming, it’s often difficult to make sense of the many important complex issues. Both presenters will provide up-to-date information that combines facts and opinions that will assist individuals in making informed decisions when going to the polls.

The discussion will last approximately one-and-a-half hours and will be followed by a reception and light refreshments. The event is free and open to the public. Reservations are not required, but seating is limited.

For more information about this lecture and other presentations planned, visit www.lakelandcc.edu/glls or call Dr. Jennifer Forster at 440-525-7199.
