Fine Arts Showcase to Highlight Student Work
 
[Painesville, OH] Lake Erie College will present a Fine Arts Showcase on Thursday, December 2, 2010 from 5:30pm – 7:30pm in the B.K. Smith Gallery of Royce Hall for the Fine and Performing Arts.
 
The event features work by Fine Arts students including drawings, digital photography, graphic design projects and animations.
 
"This art show demonstrates the creativity of our student body. I am continuously impressed by the way the students express their thoughts into art,” said Steven Gutierrez, Professor of Integrated Media, Digital Art & Technology.  
  
The Showcase will begin with a reception and the Student Art and Digital Art & Technology Show at 5:30pm followed by performances in the C.K. Rickle Theatre, which include Animation class projects and dance class showings presented together from 6:00-6:45. Dance class participants will present original studies by dance majors Maggie Runyon and Stephanie Kilper, including Hip-Hop routines, tap interludes and showing of a work-in-progress by guest choreographer Marissa Glorioso.
