Lake Erie College Reports Record Enrollment
[October, 2010] - Lake Erie College has reported an increase in growth and enrollment for the fifth consecutive year with over 1,300 students.
“The College is diligent in its mission to provide students with a strong cross-disciplinary liberal arts education. Our rich core-curriculum complemented by the opportunity to explore any of our 35 academic programs including an individualized major, makes Lake Erie College a uniquely attractive learning environment,” said Michael T. Victor, President.
“Our investment in our students is evidenced through our continued growth. We have just completed a multi-million dollar renovation of the Austin Science Hall, home to spacious state-of-the-art biology, chemistry and environmental laboratories; we’ve launched new a multimedia major in our arts community, keeping pace with the ever-changing needs of technology and creativity and we have provided students the opportunity to conceptualize, lead and launch social and academic organizations, empowering them to succeed beyond the classroom”, he added.
In addition to its long-standing academic reputation, the College is a member of the NCAA Division II GLIAC with 23 intercollegiate athletic teams.
