STORER FOUNDATION AWARDS $50,000 TO LAKE ERIE COLLEGE FOR SCHOLARSHIPS
(PAINESVILLE, OHIO) – The George B. Storer Foundation has awarded Lake Erie College a $50,000 grant for scholarships. Students receiving these scholarships must have a minimum grade point average of 3.5 and be juniors or seniors majoring in discipline within the humanities.
“The George B. Storer Foundation also provides scholarships for students at five other Ohio colleges – Denison, Kenyon, Oberlin, Ohio Wesleyan and Wooster,” Interim President Sue Dreitzler said. “Receipt of the scholarship grant makes Lake Erie College part of this prestigious statewide scholarship program.”
The George B. Storer Foundation also supported Lake Erie College in the past with a major gift for construction of the Arthur S. Holden Center.
