Elisabeth Giedt, DVM to take part in panel discussion at 2009 Midwest Veterinary Conference
Elisabeth Giedt, DVM will take part in a panel discussion titled, "Leadership & Management Issues Faced by Women Owners & Associates" during the 2009 Midwest Veterinary Conference on Friday, Feb. 20, 2009 in Columbus, Ohio.
Giedt will join two other equine professionals to discuss women's leadership and management styles and how they present a unique challenge to both the owners and associates in equine veterinary practices.
Giedt is an associate professor of equine studies at Lake Erie College where she focuses on equine health, nurtition, breeding and lameness. She is a graduate of the Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine and has worked at and owned her own veterinary practice.
