Chairman of the board inducted into Hall of Fame
Dana Dennis honored by Willoughby-Eastlake Schools Foundation
Dana Dennis, chairman of the Lake Erie College board of directors, will be inducted into the
Willoughby-Eastlake Schools Distinguished Alumni Hall of Fame Sept. 27.
The Willoughby-Eastlake Schools Distinguished Alumni Hall of Fame was established in 1989 to honor alumni who have distinguished themselves at a high level of achievement in their particular field of study, life’s work or community service. Individuals must have graduated at least fifteen years prior to the selection date.
An alumnus of Lake Erie College, Dennis is vice president and corporate controller of Parker Hannifin Corporation, where he has worldwide responsibility for all accounting functions within the company, including planning, analysis and budgeting, internal and external reporting and financial systems development.
In 2006, he was chosen as a recipient of the Distinguished Alumni Award at Lake Erie College. This award is annually given to an alumni who exhibits the strong ideals of learning and success throughout adulthood.
Dennis has also served as vice president of the Northeast Ohio Chapter of the Financial Executives Institute and chairman of the board of Junior Achievement of Greater Cleveland and holds membership in other professional and nonprofit organizations.
Dennis, his wife Sharon (also a Lake Erie College alumna from the class of 2003) and their two daughters live in Kirtland.
