Wallace Event Draws Full Crowd
Amidst the exciting 2008 presidential race, veteran Broadcast Journalist Chris Wallace presented “A View from Washington” April 29 to a full capacity crowd at the Morley Music Building at Lake Erie College.
Wallace, host of FOX News Sunday with Chris Wallace (FNS), spoke extensively about highlights of his life in journalism as well as his insights into the 2008 presidential election. His speech went from humorous, touching on his excitement when playing basketball with Michael Jordan, to serious, explaining the media's evolving role in public discourse.
During his speech he mentioned the recent "Obama Watch" used by Fox News to hold presidential hopeful Senator Barrack Obama to his promise to appear on Wallace's show. Lake Erie College has created a "Wallace Watch" in hopes that Chris Wallace will again return to Lake Erie College in the future.
