The Lake Erie College women's soccer team was recently announced as a recipient of the 2006-07 NSCAA/Adidas Team Academic Award after earning a team grade point average of 3.38 for the 2006-07 academic year.

Of the 24,000 members of the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA), a total of 414 teams, including 114 men and 300 women, posted a G.P.A. of a 3.0 or higher to earn the association's highest academic honor.
