Lake Erie College hosted the dedication of Jack Slattery Field

In honor of Jack Slattery’s donation to the renovate the existing field, Lake Erie College dedicated the existing athletic field as Jack Slattery Field on Tuesday, August 21 at 4 p.m.
The former student-athlete of Morehead State University was inspired to make this donation because of his love for football and unwavering support of Lake County businesses and organizations. Slattery’s donation will be used to renovate the field into a multi-purpose field for soccer, football and other future activities at Lake Erie.
President of Lake Business Products and a resident of Concord, Slattery has been a recipient of the Top Dealer Award in northeast Ohio for Canon Inc. for the past 20 years.
Prior to founding Lake Business Products, Slattery was employed by Pratt Whitney and Interstate PhotoCopy and served as an FBI investigator.
Lake Business Products employs about 210 associates, 75-80% of whom are Lake County residents. A one-man endeavor that started in his home, Lake Business Products operates out of a 106,000-square-foot facility in Eastlake and serves clients across the region and state. The company has offices located in Youngstown, Columbus, Cincinnati, Akron and Toledo.
The field is located west of the Athletic and Wellness Center on the corner of West Walnut and Gillett Street. A reception in the Athletic & Wellness Center will immediately follow the dedication.
