Lake Erie College Student Brittany Kelly Named Miss Ohio U.S.A. Finalist

(Painesville, Ohio) – Lake Erie College junior Brittany Kelly has been named a finalist in the Miss Ohio U.S.A. pageant. Kelly will represent her hometown at the event on November 9 and 10 at the Vern Rife Center for the Arts in Portsmouth. Fifty contestants from across Ohio will compete for the crown of Miss Ohio U.S.A.

Kelly is double majoring in communications and marketing and a minor in Italian. She has been a cheerleader on the College’s team for three years and a singles player on the women’s tennis team. Kelly organized the Samaritan’s Purse humanitarian organization at the College collecting 66 boxes of gifts from the student body for children across the world who would otherwise not have a Christmas.
