Arts, Culture, & Humanities

For students who are passionate about exploring the essence of what it is to be human--to communicate through the power of the written and spoken word, to express creatively our deepest emotions and grandest aspirations, to engage and explore other cultures and to ponder the very meaning of our existence.

Your interests will take you to the roots of our culture; your thirst for knowledge in history and the languages of French, German, Italian and Spanish will be rich with travel abroad trips and opportunities to become a member in cultural and social student organizations that are enriching, educational and rewarding.

  • Participation in this learning community will help you develop a dynamic and engaging path to graduate school or a career in the arts, music, education, or professional writing.

  • You'll be inspired by our campus' creative outlets; we are home to Royce Hall for the Fine and Performing Arts, the breathtaking Morley Music Building and the B.K. Smith Gallery. Integrated media majors will enjoy classes held in a state-of-the-art Mac lab and spacious fine art and dance studios will help you unleash your creativity to achieve boundless possibilities. Set your goals for the future--we'll help you get there.
